"Books and Coffee it doesn't get any better than this..."

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs First of all I loved the old vintage photos and the authors style of writing, but since the story was told in the first person narrator it comes across a little flat. The characters were interesting, but you never really got to know them a little more background would have been nice. The plot builds slowly then about the middle of the book everything is revealed in one big gush after that it was just riding it out till the end, and the end was a let down I just hate it when a story leaves me thinking "is that it?" This book would probably make a good read for a tween.
